Charlie was a son of the famous Ch. Carmalde Can
Can Charlie At Dawnanda, light shaded red and was not actively shown but placed
well at Club shows and gained his Crufts Life Qualification when he got his Stud
Book number. 2003 was the best year for Charlie at the shows,
in the February he won his and our first CC at Manchester Championship Show,
taking Best Of Breed and also being pulled out in the last 8 in the Utility
Group. In the June he won a Reserve CC at Border Union Championship
Show, then in the October he won
Best Dog at Chow Of The Year, and Reserve Best
In Show.
Charlie was a very quiet dog, so nice to have
around, I always thought he was a gentleman dog, never minded if one of the
girls stole his dinner, mated to Anna, they had a litter of 4 puppies from which
we kept Ria. We both
miss him so much, for me the company he gave me many an hour whilst on my
computer, and Winston who used to take him his walks, where he just trotted
along at his side.
