Bertie was born from our Ella's 2nd Litter, and
we named her after the famous Music Hall artist who was born in Worcester. We
showed and campaigned her to her Junior Warrant and retired her early at 18
months. She was a very quiet stoic chow, happy in the house and
garden, unfortunately she had bloat when she was 5 years old, but she pulled
through the operation, and we thought it was just a one off thing, but two years
later she had bloat again and was operated on, after that we were worried that
it would re-occur, and 8 months later she bloated again and this time it was
just too much for her. We never mated her, I couldn't imagine her to
have puppies. Dear Bertie, she was lovely with her deep copper
coloured coat, teddy hair head, and chunky legs, we miss you Bertie.
